Elyse Dodge

L.A.-based Canadian artist Elyse Dodge is best known for her boldly coloured geometric landscapes. Her distinctive visual language explores the contrast between the abstract and the literal, and the connection between soft and hard forms.

Raised in British Columbia, her artist mother and builder father taught her about craftsmanship - and to see her surroundings as shape and colour. Deeply inspired by West Coast scenery, her deconstructed landscapes focus on fractal shapes and texture, skillfully blending the freedom of impressionism with the precision of geometry. Her work serves as a reminder that things are not always what they seem, and that the whole exists only as the sum of its parts - each piece a beautiful and integral component of the full puzzle.

Mark J. Rebennack

Inspired by the everyday art, artists, languages, thoughts, colors, comments, jokes, news headlines, memories, music, motivations and silences. Mark has had the experiences needed in order to develop philosophies about the creation of art as a viewer, a collector, a student, an advocate and a practitioner. He believes in art for art's sake. He believes in the power of creativity. He believes that you must first know the rules before you can break them. He believes that artists that become complacent are at risk of failing themselves as much as the viewers. He believes in the universality of mark-making.

Nicole Anastas

“By sewing each canvas from scratch, I create an authentic piece of artwork before my painting even begins. I want the canvas itself to be a work of art!

Once the canvas is ready, I stretch it over a custom frame. And then I go in and sew some more by hand. I use thick embroidery floss to add more stitches and often hand-made buttons too. I love to add details that you can’t get from painting alone. The canvases are often pulled apart and put back together again. There are areas on each painting that are frayed, pretty, gritty, ornate, and some that seem like open or sealed-off scars.

I have been painting my canvases in simple, often bold monochromatic colors that are accompanied by minimal accents. This allows the sewn canvas to be the center of attention. each painting is a way of putting our lives on display”
